The 500 was so much fun, I had to go back that same year for the 1000. This time we camped on the beach in San Felipe.
Not long after getting my new 450, I had the opportunity to go to Mexico for the Baja 500. I went with the DP Racing Team and pre-ran the course the week before the race. I had a great time as we camped in the middle of no where and road all over the Baja peninsula. The course traversed beaches, mountain forests, barren deserts, and small villages.

After riding for a year or more, I rode a friend’s 2004 CRF450 and was hooked. The lower center of gravity seemed to make the bike feel so much lighter and easier to ride compared to my 500. So, not long after I sold the 500 and bought a new 2005 CRF450.
After riding with a couple of friends just one time, I was hooked and had to get a bike. My first bike was a 1998 Honda CR500R.
I’ve been in RC for many years. Over that time, many planes and heli’s have come and gone. This is a small gallery of what I have done since the 90s.
When I was 19 I had the wonderful experience of serving a mission for two years. I was called to serve in the California, San Jose mission and to speak Spanish. I loved the people on my mission; I loved their food, their kindness their culture…
